Change isn't easy!

Change in life isn't always easy. I've made changes in my life. We all have. But relocation to a different state is scary. For 25 years Ohio was all I ever knew. My friends and family were there. It's where I grew up, went to high school, had a child, joined the military, and went to college. My first marriage, my life was Ohio. But things happened. And Ohio became a place I "use" to live. The first major state move was when I came to Georgia, hard to believe that was almost 3 years ago! The only people I knew were my mom and pop and sisters. The first few months I was here I didn't venture out. I knew no one. I was scared. But, against all odds, I made the leap and got a job at Waffle House. I began making aquantiences and forming friendships. I met my second husband here and started a life. I was comfortable. Life was great. I didn't want for anything. My life was truly my own for the first time in a while. But again life decided it was time for another change. And fate also intervened on my behalf. Things were not going smoothly in my second marriage. I was on the verge of leaving and starting over on my own when I met Jesse. Jesse is now my husband. ( and if you've been keeping track he's #3) I've since divorced my second husband and married Jesse. He truly is my one and only soulmate. I've lived him from the moment I looked into his eyes. And that brings me to my next major change in life. (and for the record, no I am not pregnant!) I'm making another move across state lines! In about 2 weeks we will be moving to Alabama. And yet again I will be starting over. Going to a town where he knows everyone and I know no one. And I haven't mentioned it to him, but I'm terrified. I'm 28 and I don't want to start over again. I will do it for him. I will do it because I know moving back close to his family is something he truly wants to do. But it's going to be hard!

It's been a year

Wow. Today I realized that it's been a full year since I've updated my blog. And in that year so much has happened. No longer do I work for Waffle House. No longer am I married. Well I'm married, but not to the same person. (and yes I know how bad that sounds) I'm in the process of starting my own company called Creative Outlet.

Yup tons of things have changed. Not always sure if it's for the better tho.

So tired

Life around here hasn't been much fun that is for sure. Endless nights filled with work and days filled with catching up on sleep. That is the story of my life. I get a few hours in the morning online and that's about all. The MIL situation is still there. I haven't forgiven and she hasn't apologized, but is expecting us to still be there to drive her everywhere she needs to go and get her things. And I'm at my wits end with it all. My husband had told me that he would understand if I didn't do anything for her, but is throwing it in my face when I won't. So to keep the peace between he and I, I just bite my tounge. She stated that she is moving on the 20th of this month and hasn't disclosed the location, but that is all fine and dandy with me. I don't care where she moves as long as it is far far away! LOL Is that awful or what? I just hope she doesn't expect any help from me with moving, because that is one thing I will put my foot down on!

Well I'm off to soak in my tub and hit the sheets. Gotta do that whole work thing again tonight! Yay! LOL

To forgive or not to forgive

Recently I had the undo pleasure of moving my mother-in-law to Ellijay Ga (where my husband and I reside) And to start off with, NO she did not move in with us. Just to make that one very clear from the beginning! LOL

Well we moved her from Columbus, Ga, which is 3 hrs south of Ellijay. No big deal. She gave us a week to find her a place to live, so we did. Keep in mind, she had no money for a deposit and no plans and has 3 tiny yappy dogs and most places around here don't accept pets. So we found her a place that is run by our current "landlord". From the moment we have moved her up here she has been nothing but a pain in my ass. Nothing makes her happy, she is constantly whining about something. She doesn't like the house that we moved her to. Granted it's not the best of places to live, but it's by far unlivable. And what else does she expect on such a short notice anyway? She's been in Ellijay for 3 weeks now. She has done nothing but whine about her home and yet hasn't even begun to look for another place. We have given her newspapers, shown her online how to look up places around us etc....But she would rather my husband do it for her. And sorry NO....he and I have our own lives and she is a grown ass woman! Well her landlord had offered for her to look at another place that he was currently evicting some tennants from. All he needed to do was get the paper work legalizing the removal of their belongings and he would have moved them out ASAP (this was Monday) so he called my husband and told him that. Which on Monday when we picked her up to take her to our home to do laundry he relayed this message to her. At that point she began her 2 year old temper tantrum. Crying and whining etc.... I, like usual, bit my tounge and didn't say two words to her. Which isn't unusual since I really didn't care for the woman to start with. She asked for me to take her to the post office to get her package and then to take her home. I wasn't one to plead and beg for her to come to our house to do her laundry. I respected her wishes and took her home. But on the way back to her house she asked me to stop at a gas station, where she promptly bought some beer (a 30 pack) Tate stated to her that "he was sorry he moved her up here because she was so unhappy" (Mind you that is ALL he said to her) and we dropped her off. By the time we got home she had bashed us all over Facebook telling anyone who would listen that we said we wished we had never moved her up here, and that she was to much trouble for us and all sorts of other nonsense. Then she proceed to message my mother on facebook and call her all sorts of names (the attack wasn't warranted and I had read the posts, my mom never said a thing to her!) Then proceeded to call our cell for the next 10 hours straight stating things like I was a whore and that my husband was an asshole and that we were the whitest of white trash....these voicemails are all saved on our phone as well. She proceeded to insult and threaten her neighbors and bug the landlord and other things. Which has gotten the police called on her, and the landlord letting her know that he wants her out on her ass and that he is giving her the rent money back ASAP. Which I don't blame him one bit after the trouble that she caused him all day and us for that matter. But now that it's 3 days later she is calling our phone and "apologizing and crying" and wanting my husband to call her. But I'm at my end with this woman. I've had enough of her childish behavior and I'm not going to stand for it. I know and knew that Tate will forgive her, he's her son and the only real reliable family she has. I don't hold it against him when he wants to make amends with her. But I'm not really the forgiving type, so it's going to be a while before I forgive and forget. If I ever do. With me you only get one shot, and she used that up! So I guess the question is.....do I forgive and forget because she is my husbands mother? I mean yea he can forgive her all he wants. But I'm the only one that can drive, so he can't go see or help her unless I'm the one to take him out there. And I'll be damned if it's going to be anytime soon. What do you think?

When I found her.............

She has been a missing part of my life for almost 14 years. I haven't seen her, spoken to her, hugged her or anything. Everyday I think about her. Wonder what type of young woman she has grown up to be. Where she is, is she happy etc. So when I finally found her online, on facebook, it was a happy day. But also a day filled with emotion. Would she talk to me, would she want me part of her life? I got my answer loud and clear. No. She doesn't want anything to do with me. She blocked me and has refused to acknowledge my existance. And it saddens me to say the least.
And if you are confused, I'm talking about my youngest sister.
She and I both went through a rough trial in our lives. We didn't have the best of childhoods growing up. Being put in different foster homes, being bounced around etc. I'm 7 years older so went through it a lot worse than she did. But she got lucky. She found a woman that loved her and adopted her. I stepped aside and let her grow up, let her deal with her traumas and always offered any answers I could provide. We did talk a little via email when she was growing up. But then it all stopped, and I didn't push. I just let her grow. I've never stopped thinking about her. She is my little sister afterall. And I was like a mother to her. I took care of her, fed her, bathed her, etc. So yea in a way I felt like a mother to her. So to find her on facebook and to write her was hard. I was excited, sad, happy etc. It was like a whole new life and world was going to open up to me. Finally I'd have my little sister back in my life. I was excited. But my oh so loving husband sort of told me "not to get my hopes up" when I told him the whole story. He's been supportive about it all and has helped me to understand a few things.
Everyone handles trauma differently. I guess I was just so use to it all that I've hardened myself. Whereas (according to her adoptive mom) it took her years of counseling and such to come to terms. And to her "I'm a reminder of a sad time in her life"
Which is kind of like a slap in the face and a let down. I had my hope set on her and I connecting and having some symbolizing sister hood again. But alas that is not to be. So I guess I should give up and live my life and forget about connection with her. I wish her the best and I'm sad that she is the kind of person who would shut the only blood family she has left. But I wish her the best of luck in everything she persues.

Halloween at the Waffle House

Well unfortunately for you I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the few that did come into Waffle House last night in their Halloween costumes. Bummer I know. Because a lot of people dressed up and came in, but we were "balls to the walls" busy last night.
Let me tell you about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So it's a typical Saturday night, like usual I get there a little before 10 and sort of "prep" myself before taking the floor. Of course 2nd shift doesn't have their work done, so my co-worker and I get it all caught up. The first two hours go by smoothly with customers litering in and out. Nothing major and nothing busy. Bout 12:30am when the bars finally clear out, we fill up. And I'm talking FILL UP. Our Waffle House can seat comfortably about 60 people (and that is a rough guestimate to say the least) But Jonnie and I are doing our best to keep up. She has one end of the store and I have the other. We're taking orders and filling the grill up. I'm keeping my sanity, taking orders talking with the customers etc....then all hell breaks lose in my corner of the store. Holy SHIT! I evaluate the situation as best I could and realize that "yea I have some army training and can handle myself pretty well when breaking up a fight......but these guys are pretty big and I'm probably going to get slapped around some" So I run to the grill and tell James (our old roomate and other grill operator) that he's the "biggest one in the store and to get his butt over to my corner NOW" he looks at me kinda dumbfounded like "WTF are you talking about" (you would have had to been there to really appreicate the look he gave me) He then turns and realizes what it was that I was talking about. I've never seen a big man move so quick! LOL My hubby is also a cook at Waffle House and yes he can handle his own I'm sure. But he's my height and these guys were like 6ft and taller. So I made him stay back! LOL James and I got the fight under control and kicked some of the aggressors out on their rear end. I mean hey, if they wanna fight in the parking lot go for it! LOL
But then it back to business like usual. And about that time I turn and realize that the store had some how filled up more than it was BEFORE the fight broke out. Needless to say, and to make a long story short, I got my ass handed to me big time last night! It was busy all the way up til about 5am and if I never see another dirty dish or customer I won't be sad! LOL So that was my halloween night in a nutshell (yes I know today is technically halloween, but the bars night for dress up was last night) how was yours?

It's that time again

It's that time of year again when things get crazy hectic at work. Halloween is right around the corner. Next up is Thanksgiving and then Christmas. And work gets crazy! We are all pulling doubles and such just to cover the floor becuase we at the Waffle House never close. UGH! I know when Tate and I decide it's time for kids I won't be working there! I will want to be spending that time with my family! But for now the money is good so I can't complain to much. :)

Life around here is the usual. Eat, sleep, shower, work and repeat. It's a daunting task for sure. But we gotta do it.

What kind of mother can you be?

So in our local newspaper there is an article about a woman driving off and leaving her 2 year old at daycare. Of course this isn't usually a big issue. People drop their kids off at daycare all the time right? Well what is so shocking about this story is the mother was late to the drop off for daycare. When the aid went in to check to be sure that it was still ok for the mother to leave her child there, the mother drove off. Thus leaving her 2 year old child out on the stoop. The child was found later roaming the street. What kind of mother just drives off and leaves a 2 year old kid stranded outside like that? Ugh this story makes me want to punch that woman in the face!

A week has passed

Well a week has passed now. And thankfully I'm feeling much much better! So just wanted to drop a quick note to everyone to let you know that I didn't die due to my illness. It finally went away! Of course I better go knock on wood now, because it will come roaring back with a vengence if I do not! LOL

Grrrrness!

Well one day I felt like getting better, the next day not so much. And NOOOOOOOO for the record I am NOT pregnant! Seems like that is what everyone is thinking. But I've been preggers before and I know those symptoms quite well thanks very much! LOL I'm just not sure if it's the weather changing and the allergies are acting up or if it's the flu, or a slight case of pneumonia. If it doesn't clear up by this weekend or my next day off which is Sunday I'm def going to the doctor. Cuz let's just say grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr is the only way I can describe it. And Missy if you are reading this, I'm not a good patient either. But I need the work so calling out and resting isn't an option for me at the moment. So I'm toughing it out and doing what I have to and working. But I've pretty much spent the past 3 days doing much of nothing but sleeping! Attempted to go to a good friends surprise birthday party, lasted about an hour and a half and had to leave. Just started feeling blah again. So hopefully it goes away soon and I can get back to life! Cuz this just sucks!

Getting better day by day

Well it only took 4 days. But I'm starting to feel much better. And I didn't get the rest and relaxation needed the whole time I was sick. I went to work everyday and toughed it out. Man it was a killer I'll tell ya! I'm still dealing with the chest congestion. But all in all I'm better. I've got my energy back. So thanks for all the well wishes!

Currently I'm enjoying my 3 days off!

Thanks!

Thanks so much for those of you that read my last blog post and made such positive comments! It really made my day to read them! Sometimes I'm just in need of a lift me up! :) And you all really lifted me up! Espically your comment Ron! LOL

In other news................

I'm currently suffering from some sort of awful sickness that won't go away! It's been 3 days now and everyday I tend to wake up feeling worse than I did the day before! It started on Wednesday. I woke up with an awful sinus congestion and head cold. Then Thursday started in with the hurting while breathing and chest congestion. Awful cough as well. Also felt like I ran a marathon after sweeping and mopping the floors at work.

I haven't had any new symptoms as of yet today.....But then again I haven't been to bed yet either. LOL So we will see what the day is going to have in store for me when I wake up to get ready for work! Hopefully I'm at the end of this awful sickness and just get better. After tonight I have 3 days off and really don't want to spend them sick in bed!

I'm going through a phase

I'm not usually the type to dwell so much on my physical apperance. I've been the type of girl to just shake it off and live my life accordingly. I was the type of girl who just had the attitude of "If you don't like it, don't look". It's the way I've always lived my life. And I've been quite happy with it. But here lately as I look at myself in the mirror I just keep thinking "ewww gross" and "when did this happen to me!" I know your body changes as you get older and even after having children. I've only had one, but man my body did a lot of changing since then. I've obtained the ugly strech marks and the fat roll. Now don't get me wrong, I know my husband loves me for who I am. But sometimes I wish I looked like some of those skinny, rock hard ab kinda girls. Maybe it's a phase, maybe I need to get off my butt and start exercising.

It's all said and done.....

Well the wedding is over, the pictures are the only memories we have to hold onto :) The honeymoon is over (well just the vacation time from work is over) and it's back to the daily grind. We went back to work on Tuesday night. And after 8 whole days off that was ruff! LOL But we survived. Now if I can make it through til 6am Sunday morning I'll be doing great! LOL Just wanted to check in and see how everyone is and give a little update. Things are fine here. Just work and home like ususal. Suffering from a severe case of writers block at the moment, I haven't wrote a decent hub at hubpages in a while now. So I'm trying to jump that curve and find something meaningful to write about. GAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Had a migraine from hell yesterday and it finally went away sometime this morning at work. I hate migraines! Well now I'm just blabbing so I'll leave you all without further boredom :)

Wedding, Honeymoon and Marriage.

Well on Wednesday Sept 15th at approx 5pm I offically became Mrs. Blankenberg. It's a wonderful feeling indeed. Though it is scary, I have finally found my other half. After years of searching within myself, and searching everywhere else I finally found him. I don't feel any different being a married woman that is for sure. But the thing that is so wonderful about our relationship and hopefully continues throughout our marriage is the fact that we just get along so well. And there is barely a time at all that we are apart. . Though we do have a funny story of how the greatest day of our lives started! Sit back, relax, and enjoy...cuzz now it is laughable. At the time though not so much!

About noon, on the day of our wedding, our roomate comes bursting in our room..... What she says next left me stunned! She bursts through the door "There's a fire" At first I was like "huh" and again she says "There's a fire" So as Tate is jumping out of the bed I'm still sitting in front of my computer dazed and sort of confused! So I'm all like "Where is the fire" Needless to say there was a fire. It was in her closet. And it started because her 4 year old son was playing with a lighter in her closet and put a lighter to her clothes and thus we had flames. Luckily enough though we got it put out. But here is a picture for your visual .......

Needless to say we are greatful that the house is still in one piece!

The wedding was amazing and only started 45 minutes late! LOL I'm usually never late for anything, but the fire set us back a bit. Tate and I had to run to Walmart at the last minute to get some smelly good stuff to get some of the smell nutralized because we had a house full of people on their way over to help with the preperations and getting my hair done~
So that was the start of our wedding day! Fun times I'll tell ya. Needless to say, we are still getting use to having a 4 year old in the house. And the roomate still needs to get the closet cleaned up and something done to it. But things are going well otherwise.

We spent our Honeymoon in Savannah, Ga. It is such a beautiful and historic city. We arrived Thursday evening and went to Spanky's and ate dinner and did some walking around on the boardwalk along the river on River Street. It is a beautiful view at night for sure. The next day we we did some window shopping and picked up some stuff for memories sake. Took a tour with the Old Savannah Tours and it was fun. Pretty inexpensive as well. Only $25 per person and it runs from 9am to 4:30pm and you can get on and off if you see something that you want to visit for a little bit. We did end up getting off the tour bus a few times to shop around. We visited all the squares in the city and went to the City Market. It was one of the main things that I wanted to see while we were there. You can see all the videos of our wedding and honeymoon on my YouTube page at youtube.com/Sabrae3316 and all my pictures of the wedding are on my Facebook page! Hopefully you enjoyed this blog post!

3 Days and counting!

Only three days til the wedding. Things are going good and not as crazy hectic anymore. Which is good. Because the man stressing was taking a toll on me. But just wanted to give a brief update. The honeymoon is going to be in Savannah Ga. I can't wait! The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the almost 6 hour drive! UGH! I hate driving on freeways. Let alone 75 and in rush hour traffic! But I'll deal and we'll have a good time! :) Hope everyone is doing well!

Car is fixed and wedding is on!

OMG! What a scare! Member how I told you about the car breaking down yesterday? Well let's just say this.......if you go to Advanced Auto to get parts for your car....make sure the ass who is selling you the parts knows what the hell he is doing! Yea they SOLD US THE WRONG CV AXLE! Hence the reason for the car breaking down on us! Oh I was so pissed about that! Our mechanic is an awesome guy tho. He fixed it and got it back to us last night. So I took Tate out to the bar and let him mingle while I attempted to not fall asleep standing up! Yea we were up for about 30+  hours yesterday! So all I wanted to do was sleep. But I was refusing to let tate have a even worse birthday than it was. So I sucked it up and took him out because I love him.

Now to just get the wedding stuff done things will get back to normal and I'll stop stressing out because he's stressing out........ if that made any sense at all. LOL
Well going to either lay down and take a nap or make my man cook us some burgers and hot dogs on the grill.

If it's not one thing it's another going wrong....

Things have been going so great around here. We've bought a car, been doing good at work, and even getting the wedding on track for Sept 15th.
Well that car situation...ummmm yea, about that....
We were told that the CV Axel was going out. No biggie right? Well we took it in today and a friend of ours fixed it for free. Only the drivers side was out. $70 part no big deal. Went ahead and replaced the belts just because. Got the car all done and even test drove it. Really, again, no big deal right? Apparently not so! So mind you, we test drove the car up and down the road a million times, it's running good. We leave, go back to the parts store return the parts we didn't need to replace, head to McDonald's to get some food. Again, all is well, car is running great..... We leave McDonalds and go to pull out on to the road and all of a sudden we hear a big POP sound. Didn't sound great. I just thought that maybe, just maybe I didn't have it in gear or something...... I really didn't notice anything. Because the road we are pulling out on is a downhill slope. I'm coasting down the hill and go to hit the gas to go across the freeway and nothing....... it won't go! So the car broke down an hour after getting things fixed! And that bad thing is............we don't know what is wrong! It's not the CV Axel obviously, because it's just been replaced! We do know that there is a crack in the Manifold. But we were told that it could possibly be welded. If not, then that is going to cost a good $700 to replace. Could also need a new clutch.... which could cost us about $125. We really don't know what is wrong wrong with it. We are just hoping and praying like hell that it isn't something toooooooooo seriously wrong! So if you pray or meditate....remember us. Because if it is something huge like that we are going to have to cancel the wedding and just get married at the court house.... :(

Time for a change?

Well things have definatly gotten a bit interesting around here. We have two new roomates. My good friend and her son have moved in with us as of Tuesday. I just couldn't let her stay where she was at anymore. I won't get into details, but needless to say, she's with people now who don't live in filth! Now I'm not one to be judgemental of the way other people live typically. But OMG! She was living with another girl that we work with. And when we went and moved her stuff out I felt like I was going to vomit from the smell of urine the whole time I was there. I couldn't let her stay there any longer. And not to mention that this girl was cheating my friend out of money at every turn. She would give her money for the electric bill or something else and the next thing you know the electric is shut off. So the situation wasn't a good one for her and her son to be in. So I moved them in with us. And we now have a 4 year old running around the house! :) He's definatly a ball of energy that's for sure! LOL He keeps Tate entertained! LOL They played around with a balloon for a few hours the other night. Tate loves kids. So it willl be good for him. He was already talking about teaching him how to play sports! So it will be an interesting change for the both of us.

Weddings, animals and money

Well things are def wild and crazy and filled with stress at the moment. Weddings are sooooo expensive! Got the dress, but the dress needs altered. Can't get the dress altered because the woman who alters the dresses is never there. When we bought the dress she never said that we needed to make an appointment to have it all done. She just said for us to bring it in. I know, because I asked specifically if we needed to make an appointment. Went Monday to have the dress altered and they were closed, went today and the lady who does it wasn't in and we were informed that she does appointments ONLY! Gah...... so we went to the florist instead. $101 for fake flower bouquets!!!! OMG! Really? $101 for fake ass flowers? gahhhhhhhhhhhhh so glad I'm only getting mine and the maid of honors bouquets or I'd go broke on flowers alone! Not to mention the fact that only 3 people have returned the RSVP cards for the wedding so far! Mind you I've sent out over 70 or sooooo invites! GAHHHHHHHH This stress is def getting to me.

In other news tho we took the dogs to get their nails clipped today. They did surprisingly well getting them clipped! I was shocked....Now getting them out of the house on leashes and loaded into the car was another story in itself! Took longer to get them into the groomers than it did to get the nails done! WTH?

Well that's all I've got for now. Getting ready to go eat some yummo chicken wraps that my future hubby made me!

Bridal Shower what?

So tomorrow, Aug 15th 2010 at 6pm, is my bridal shower. So from 6-8pm I'm going to be in my house with around 20-25 females. And it's been a while since I've been around that much estrogen! Oh help me now. Not to mention, I have to work til 6am. So I'm going to be getting off of work in the morning coming home cleaning house top to bottom. Will hope to get a few hours of sleep, then at 1pm it's off to a birthday party for a friend of mines kid. He's turning 4! Then home to make sure the house is spotless and set up for the bridal shower. I'm going to be one poopy tired pumpkin tomorrow! We are not doing the typical bridal shower either. We are having a pure romance party. And well for those of you that don't know what a pure romance party is......ummm click here to find out! Just FYI it is adult.... LOL
Well it's off for time for this chicka! Got to try and get some more sleep in before work tonight!

You're getting sleepy....

So I really didn't post anything here or on HubPages for the entire three days that I was off work. Mainly because I slept most of the time I was off or I was doing other fun and exciting things. "Like what?" you may ask... well Monday we finally bought a car!!!!! So exciting! To finally have our own vechile! Ahhhhhhhhh and then there is the whole planning of the bridal shower that is coming up this Sunday. Along with the fact that I have to go get presents for a birthday party for a 4 year old that I'm going to , which happens to be also on Sunday! Tuesday had to go to the next town over, which is like 20 miles away and go to the DMV to get my Georgia license. Which subsquently I didn't end up getting. :( Nope they are making this 27 year old 11 year long driver start from scratch and start out with a learners permit! Oh the joys of feeling like I'm 16 again! And let's hope it's not a repeat of the time I was 16 and getting my license, because I failed the manuverability horribly that first go around! LOL Had to work last night. It's now about 7am and I'm sleepy. Usually I'm not this tired and worn out when I get home from work, but unfortunatly I woke up yesterday around 10am and we had a mandatory meeting at work that cut into my nap time. So I didn't get to take a nap yesterday. So I'm feeling pretty blah and stuff.
Well that's all I have to update you on right now more to come again I'm sure!

Now this is team work

So we got pretty bored at work the other night and my co-worker decided it would be funny to jump up on my back. Then she pretty much refused to get off of me. I carried her on my back for about 20 minutes. Doing work and taking orders and delievering food. It was pretty funny actually. Wasn't really all that tired. And she had such a grip on me that I really didn't have to hold her up either. But of course I forgot I had the camera with me so you only get to see about 20 seconds of this video. Enjoy!

I feel so old, and yet I'm not!

As of late my body has been feeling the wear and tear of not resting properly and running around to much at work. I came home yesterday and my hip popped out of place, making my leg go numb. Then this morning I come home and sit in front of my computer like I always do and when I got up to stand I couldn't stand up straight! Oh where did the time go when my body felt like a vibrant 15 year old! lol Yea I know what happened to me, it was the car wreck and just pure laziness!
But goodness I feel like I'm trapped inside the body of a 90 year old!

Helpless achy

You know you live in the North Georgia Mountains when..........

  • Grandma is called Granny
  • Mom is called Momma
  • Dad is either Daddy (when you want something) or Pop
  • Grandpa is Grandaddy
  • You meet people who come into Waffle House that tell you it's their first time in town!
  • Eating at the Waffle House is part of their honeymoon to their second or even first cousin
  • When you ask someone to repeat themselves a few times because the accent is to thick for you to understand.
  • When everyone looks at you funny because you call Coke, pop. (And everything down here is a Coke)
  • You see people wearing bibs and overalls to weddings and funerals (no joke!)
  • When people call me a sissy for thinking its to hot outside!
  • When people have belt buckles bigger than your fist.
  • Everything is covered with Ranch dressing
  • Ya'll is a common word
  • To find anyone's house you must drive into the mountains for at least 30 mintues and they are all unpaved roads, that require 4-wheel drive....
  • The whole town shuts down when it snows (even less than an inch)
  • Anyone older than you is Sir or Ma'am (even it it's only by a month!)

The past three days

Have been pretty uneventful actually. I came home from work Sunday morning and just crashed and burned! I fell asleep around noon (which is unusally late for me) and I slept until 11pm. Only to get up eat and watch some tv. Passing back out around 3am. And slept and slept and slept..well only til like 7am. But still that is a lot of sleeping, even for me. But I woke up with a refreshed feeling.

I broke down and bought a Nintendo DS and I love it! I'm in the midst of trying to beat the Super Mario world 3 right now. (For those of you that know what I'm talking about.) But the fish keeping eating me in the water world. So I'm stuck and frustrated! Now I'm not a gamer by any means. It's not in my blood at all. Give me a original Nintendo gaming console anyday tho, and I'm a master! I just don't get how to use the big old controllers for things like the PS2/3 or the Xbox. (though I do know a lot about the games because of the men in the house) Now you see we have tons of gaming systems here in the house...we have a PS2, Xbox and Xbox 360 and my new addition the Nintendo DS. But I only play the DS. I get confused and disoriented playing the games for the other consoles, therefore I don't even try. So I'm finding it fun with the Nintendo DS at the moment.

In other news I've cleaned the house (AGAIN) and it's pretty much stayed clean thus far. Other than the usual in town running to the bank and other things we haven't been up to much. So for now this is me signing off

This is how we get down at work!

So last night (friday of all nights) was an unusually slow friday night at work. So we decided to take Waffle House to a whole new level and started dancing. Of course Tate got the camera out! And this is 27 seconds of your life you will never get back....but hopefully you get a good laugh from our stupidity and bordom!

My Google Analytics reports......this isn't good!

So I log into my Google Analytics to check my stats this morning and I found out something very interesting! The top leading keyword phrase that makes people find my blog goes as such....

"i'm looking for incest" pics help real

I'm totally not kidding! That is the keyword phrase that leads people to my blog! I'm pretty sure that I've never even used the word incest at all in my blog! So I'm wondering how in the heck that phrase could land someone on my blog!

To funny, had to share!

Prehistoric Cavemen

Well I had this whole video to do planned out in my little brain. But lets face it.... I look like crap and I'm not taking the time to brush my hair for anyone. I worked all night and I'm running on two hours of sleep at the moment. So I'll just tell this story the best I can like this :)

But first I have to ask the question........why do males feel it necessary to act like prehistoric cavemen when in the presence of other males? Now I'm not calling them men....because lets face it, real "men" don't feel the need to see whose balls are bigger than whose when alcohol is involved...ok I digress. I actually shouldn't have asked that question, nor answered it that way. Because most men act like that weather alcohol is involved or not.

But anyway, back to my story. Last night at work was a pretty slow night. It wasn't until around 2am that we got a little rush of people from the bars. Which I didn't mind since I knew almost all of them anyway. 11 people in total came in at the same time. A group of 5 girls and 3 guys all came in together and another group of 3 guys came in and sat by themselves. Now from knowing most of the individuals involved, I automatically knew that beer or liquor of somesort was heavily involved. While with others, it was only mild.

Well the guys that came in with the 5 females sat at a booth all alone while the other 3 guys that came in by themselves sat a few feet away at our high bar. Things started off pretty smoothly and I was taking care of everyone and laughing and joking. Then the drunkest of the men that came in with the women gets up and goes to the high bar where the other 3 guys are and starts crap.....

Now let me back up a bit here and explain something. The 3 guys that came in with the girls are older gentlemen. Like 30's to 40's range. And the guys that came in by themselves are in their mid 20's at best. I know because one of them is an ex of mine. At first it seemed harmless enough because the other guys that were with the females were laughing etc....but then I soon realized that this man was out to prove a point and proceeded with the whole prehistoric caveman routine of "my balls are bigger than yours and I've had to much alcohol in my system so I'm going to prove it" mode. Needless to say it went downhill from there. There was no scuffle or anything but I'm sure there could have been.

But really males,,,,,why do you feel the need to act this way? It really does not impress us. And I really wish I would have remembered that my camera was in my purse because I wish now that I would have gotten the whole thing on film!

Sitting around the house.......

Well it's the second day of our 3 days off and I'm completely bored. I've been keeping up with my week long hub writing on making money online articles. It's been fun going but little traffic to say the least. Hasn't really had the reaction I was hoping for. But I've a few more days left. Probably going to work on the e-book later tonight. It's slow going as I'm not really sure how to start it. LOL I'm usually the one who is never short on words, but this is hard work! I've never written something so informational or knowledge packed. LOL Well not sure really what to tell you about, as nothing really exciting has happened.

My Epiphany

So this morning when I get home from work I sit down to write my online article for the day. And right now I'm doing a week long series on making money online and the different, easy, free ways that you can go about this.
And as you all know I'm huge into learning about how to make money online. Anything I can learn to do and implement into my online learning and making money I'm all for.
So anyway, as I'm writing this article I suddenly have an epiphany and realized that I've discovered this "niche" that everyone has been talking about. I'm good at learning how to make money online and implementing the tools of the trade into making money myself. So I've come to realize that I need to start publishing books and editing my website (basically starting over) to include this "niche". I'm not sure why it has come to this for me to realize what I'm good at and passionate about. But either way, I'm excited to get started on this journey of "niche" marketing. Of course my first 3 projects will include :
  • Finishing my week long series on hubpages about my making money online sites.
  • Working on revamping my website.
  • Writing an E-book on the topic!
So wish me luck as I start out on this new venture!

Wanting to kill him!

I love my man. I really do....but we have to do something about that dang snoring or I'm going to suffocate him in his sleep! LOL I got a rude awakening with the sounds of a forest being sawed down right next to my head. So I get out of bed, come to the computer after grabbing a diet pepsi and low and behold......it's now quiet...And the minute I get back into bed it going to start all over again. And the weird thing is, I know I put ear plugs in when I laid down this morning....but for some reason when I woke up they were gone! So I've got to dig out a new pair and hope and pray that the snoring doesn't start back up when I get back into bed, or else he's ending up on the floor.
Also right now my Grandma is in Georgia from New York and I woke up to a text message from Momma that stated they were going to the waffle house to eat today! Well I text them back and told them I hated them because they didn't go to Waffle House when I was working. Then I called the waitress up there since I know her really well and told her to spit in their food! Was that a little mean? Eh probably not. LOL Since they never take me out to eat! HAHA My mom got a kick out of it! Well off to try and sleep. Just thought I'd give you a bit of a laugh on my morning madness... Can't believe my butt is awake only 3 hours after I fell asleep!

Need a vacation from my mini vacation

Have you ever felt like that? I know I do all the dang time! My work schedule is pretty set in stone. I work Wednesday thru Saturday nights. I know I'm always going to have Sunday, Monday and Tuesday off. But it's like I never really get a day off. Because when I'm busting my butt at work I'm busting my butt at home as well. It's never really relaxation time here. I'm cleaning, laundry, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, moping, writing, editing, website working, book writing... it's like the list never ends. And even when I do get some much needed me time to sleep or what not the man has to wake me to run him to town for something or other. No he doesn't drive and doesn't really know how to. And it's not that I'm complaining about having to do this at all. It's just that once in a while I need some me, sleepy for 24 hour time!
Do you ever feel like you need a vacation from your vacation?

2 days down

Well I've got 2 of the 5 days at work under my belt. Only 3 more grueling nights to go! I've been busy when I get home writing the next book, working on the website, and article writing at hubpages. You people out there that like to write informative and creative articles should really check it out! Just click here if you want to take a tour and see for yourself what it's all about!

In other news, I'm having tons of fun with the new digital camera that we bought before the concert. I've been snapping pictures of everyone! LOL And I'm sure they would like to hunt me down and break it! And I've been getting some interesting Waffle House customers on video as well! lol

Well that's all for now....

Why oh why????????

Well some awesome news to start with... The wedding invitations have been ordered, the cake has been ordered and the wedding dress has been bought! The location is down pat and everything else seems to be falling into place. Just need the following....
  • Shoes for the dress
  • Someone to marry us
  • flowers
  • guest book
  • and i'm sure there are some other things i'm forgetting at the moment
  • and also have to take the dress in to be altered (since my boobs are massive they have to take it out a little bit)
The bridal shower is being arranged by two really good friends. I know that we are having a Pure Romance party (I know cuz I set that part up). It's all down to the wire now. And I was doing all of this alone. Then today two really great girls stepped up and took over for me! So it eases some tension in that area!

But today out at my momma's house as I was leaving I had the misfortune of getting stung by a wasp. Yup... right on the lower right side of my back. Boy talk about a shocker and some pain! Gahhhhhhhhhhhh You can click here and read all about it in my latest hub. I haven't been stung by anything since I was like 5! So you can imagine my shock and amazement at getting stung at the tender age of 27! I mean really, I've gone this long and come this far without one single bee sting...... and just walking down the steps ...poof....stung!

Saturday night we went and saw 311 & The Offspring in concert! We had a blast at the concert. Getting there is a whole story in itself tho! We are driving down I-75 doing good on the time and all and excited about getting there. Then it's stop and stop traffic about a mile from the exit we need. Which really wasn't the bad part. I'm not really paying much attention to the truck at all, I'm busy looking around all the cars and such and wondering how long it really is going to take to get to this exit when Tate points out the smoke coming from the hood of the truck....GREAT... so we pull off the highway onto the shoulder and low and behold the truck has started over heating. I instantly feel bad, because 311 is Tate's all time favorite band and we are sooooo close. Lucky for us 2 girls pull over and offer us a ride to and from the concert! We take them up on the offer and leave the truck on the side of the road! They brought us back afterwards and we hopped in the truck and came home. I thank goodness they came along. And being at that concert made my man smile like a kid in a toy store. He definatly had a blast! So here is some video of the concert for your enjoyment!

In the process......

I obviously am getting better about coming back and remembering to update you all on my life. Though I hate to admit it nothing really seems to be happening that is "blog" worthy ever! I don't have kids that I can write about. There are no "funny" stories to inform you on. My life literally consists of Wed-Sat working all night, coming home in the am, writing an article, playing on facebook, playing on line. Checking my AdSense, Kontera, Clickbank and YouTube accounts, getting in a hot bath and soaking (sometimes falling asleep in said hot bath), coming back to the computer, playing around for a bit longer and then heading to bed to do it all over again. On Sunday mornings we have the exact same routine...we get off work (to start our 3 days off) we do all our grocery and household shopping and we come home. And I repeat the same things I do on the days I have to work. And on Monday and Tuesdays we are either cleaning house or just lounging around in it. See I have nothing really apt to tell you about. LOL Hence the reason I find it so hard to come up with great and informative hubs! And it kills me.

It's funny tho, it seems that when I was a "housewife" I had so much to tell you all about and back then I was writing sometimes 2 blog posts a day. And yes there is TONS that go on at the Waffle House. Plenty of drunks that come in and act a fool, get pulled over upon leaving, dance in the booths. But it all seems trivial and hard to explain in my eyes to make you have a good laugh at it all.

Tomorrow though we are deviating from our original plans and not working. We are heading to Lakewood Ampitheather to see 311 and The Offspring in concert. 311 just happens to be my future husbands all time favorite band. He's NEVER seen them in concert. So as an early Birthday present from me to him, I'm taking him. We got pretty good seats. So I'm sure he'll be enthralled and completely oblivious to the fact that I'm sitting right next to him the whole time. LOL Now these bands are defiantly not the kind of music I listen to (unless he has it blaring all over the house) but I'm going in support of him and the fact that we might never get to go to another 311 concert again. :)
Well that's all from the peanut gallery for now.

Last night

So last night I'm sitting at home. I'm bored playing around on the web (facebook, youtube etc) and I look beside me and it's just staring at me. Like a big ugly pest, just staring. Not moving, not saying or doing anything. Just laying there. So finally I made my move and opened it. And now it is a published piece of work. Yup that's right folks, I finally got over my fear of my journal and made it into a book. Well only part of it. Other parts are yet to come. I feel a sense of vulnerability but also a sense of joy. It's hard to explain really. I mean it is my journal after all that I published. It is filled with feelings I had going through pretty emotional times in my life. But I did it and I'm happy now that I did! :)

Want to take a look at it? Well sure be my guest..........Support independent publishing: Buy this book on Lulu. Just click there and it will take you right to the book! :)
Have a great day everyone, I've got a lot of being lazy to do today as I have to jump on the bandwagon and head back to work tonight...

Home sick, can't believe I'm not at work

Well it's a little hard to imagine I'm not at work right now. I did go, however just couldn't hack it tonight. I worked all night last night, and felt like crap! I honestly don't know how I made it through the night last night. I got to work today and it was all I could do to keep my head off the desk in the back room. My boss finally called someone in to cover me. My baby is stuck at work tonight though without me. I could tell he wasn't very happy about my decision to come home. But what can I do? I honestly just don't feel good. And it's not the nausea kind of sick either. It's the achy body, stuffiness. Kind of like the flu feeling. It's hard to describe. Hopefully being home and doing nothing will help me recoup a little bit and I'll be better than ever tomorrow.

Hello! No this is not another video!

So I'm actually going to type this blog post out to you, instead of torturing you with another video right now :) Also it is almost 5:30 in the morning and my fiancee would probably be a little mad if I woke him up. Seeing as our computer is in the bed room. I can hear him snoring (not loudly this time thank goodness) behind me. Which means he is in a deep sleep, and I'm not going to be the one to wake him! :)

Well my 3 days off went by fast, like usual. And like usual, the goals I set for myself didn't get accomplished at all. I spent most of the days playing around online, writing hubs , and going to the movies.

I made Tate sit down with me Monday night at home and watch both, Twilight and New Moon. He wasn't at all thrilled with them. But he grudgeingly went and saw Eclipse with me last night. Of course I loved it! But, he on the other hand, made it very
clear that he was NOT going to see Breaking Dawn I or II. Of course he will, when I drag him to it. He just doesn't know it yet! lol

On another note, I was hoping to get my book up and published sometime on these 3 days off. But of course I never even opened it up and worked on it. I've decided that I'm going to put it into more than one book. So that's going to take some work as well! It's going to be a collection of quotes. Starting with Love and ranging from Self-worth and on.... I think, well hope, that they will intrigue people enough to buy them. We shall see :) Well I'm off for now. Other blogs to update and a website to work on. You can check out the website if you wish at http://easyclickfind.com/ and leave some comments here on anything that you would like to see done or added to it! I love the feed back. The good or the bad :)

Fun times and great oldies

Had some of the girls over last night for a movie, pizza, and beer night. (tho I don't drink, everyone else did) It was a good time! We rented Hot Tub Time Machine, The Crazies, and She's Outta My League. All very good movies!
But of course reality has to hit and I have to sludge my way back into work tonight! Gah....I wanna quit Waffle House so bad...Really wishing the website would be getting more hits and traffic soon! It would be nice! LOL But I'm plugging away at it day by day.
Also I'm in the process of writing a book. Yea, I got over my fear of doing it, and I'm going for it! Almost complete to! So we'll see.

Gotta take a nap before work, that's just a little update on how things have been.

I'm just lonely

Honestly, I'm really lonely. And I don't mean in my relationship. Tate and I are doing great and set to be marrired in September. And I can honestly say that if it wasn't for him I probably would have packed up and went back to Ohio a long time ago. I mean, I have friends here. But not like the friends I have back home. The friends I grew up with, went to school with, played sports with, lived with, friends who were there at the birth of my son.... I miss them.
The friends I have here, well they have what I have back in Ohio. The friends they have had all of their lives. And it's hard to fit in with them. I mean they don't call, don't come to visit, we rarely ever hang out (mainly because I work all the damn time) They go out on the weekends (I'm at work) They hang out at the lake (I'm recovering from being at work) It just sucks. I miss my 3 best friends in the whole world. And honestly it sucks. Sara, Jody, Kim and I are all in different states now. Sara is the only one left in Ohio and she pretty much has moved on in her life with new friends. Kim is in Oregon with her new baby and fiancee, and Jody is in North Carolina married to another friend of mine with a baby and another on the way. I hate the way life has split us up. But I know that we all took different paths and it has worked out for us. But still, I would give anything to spend the day with all 3 of them.
I had a best friend when I moved here. But things happened (and not for the better) and I haven't really talked to her in months (up until a week ago)
I don't really know what I'm trying to say in this blog post. Maybe my head just needed some clearing out.

I hate working...

Yup I'll admit it... I hate working... Well in the real world anyway. But then again, who doesn't? Hence the whole reason of putting this website together and trying to make it work! It's slow coming. This morning I put up two new pages (mind you there is 999 pages to this thing!) One of them being on Sports and the other on Gaming. So if you have a kid in sports or love online gaming those sites are DEF for you! So please, feel free to check them out and if you want to see something on the website don't hesitate to send me a comment and let me know. Or an email for that matter! I'm more than open to suggestions! I really want this website to be up and coming with everything you want and or need all in one spot!

In other news tho, we had some crazy kids come into the good old Waffle House last night! And I do believe that they actually scared some customers! HAHA. They played all the Waffle House songs on the Jukebox and I wanted to physically hurt them. Yes I hate the Waffle House songs on that dang old Jukebox! They drive me insane. Only because on the really busy nights at work people think it's funny to play them 100 times! Jokes on them though, behind the counter we really can't hear them! HAHA suckers!
So how is everyone's summer vacations going? Any plans or trips in the making?

It's up and running

The new website is up and running now. But mind you it is far far from finished! I've only processed 6 of the 999 pages that I can put on it. I'm going to work on it more tomorrow when I get off work in the morning. Lots of new content will be added to it and I'm excited to see what results I'm going to get!
Other than enjoying my days off (which didn't go by so fast this time, and for that I'm grateful) I've been plugging away at my HubPages site writing articles and doing other odd and ends on the computer. I'm definatly gaining lots of traffic there and here at the blog so I'm excited!

But now it's time for me to get off the computer and head into my real world experience at work! Yup gotta go back tonight! Boooooooooooooo Hopefully (and I'm crossing every finger and toe here) this website will TAKE OFF and I won't have to go to work anymore! hehe Here's to wishful thinking!

Building my website

So I'm in the process of building my website, which will launch the internet within the next 24-48 hours. I'm nervous about it. And I have 24-48 hours to build 999 pages of content to it. I've made 4 pages now, and I'm at a loss as to what to add to it. So let me ask you this : If you could go to one website to get everyting you want or want to search for, what would it be? Like what would you want that website to contain? What do you search for the most? I need ideas........... I have one home page with a link to this blog on it, a page of cookbooks, dieting tips, and my newest one is about designer handbags at wholesale pricing. So please feel free to leave me a comment telling me what it is you search for the most or what you would search for if you had one site to do it all from!

Enjoying life

Just another day in paradise here. HAHA
It's hot as heck outside. We went on a "date" today. It was fun :) Went out to eat at a local place called the Davis House. I wasn't that impressed but I was with my hunny so it was all good. We also went bowling...Have I ever mentioned that I'm the worst bolwer in the world? Yup we played 3 games and I lost all 3!

Also I'm in the process of building a website. It's not turning out good at all! LOL I don't have the patience for it at the moment, so needless to say nothing on the website is getting done. And I'm wanting it to be like 2,000 pages! Yea a high standard I know! I think I need that book <------- LOL

My work with Google, Kontera and HubPages is going slow. Not really getting the results that I'd hoped for but I'm still pluggin away.

The wedding is coming up soon and I'm still at a loss as to what to do and who to marry us and getting a dress and all that fun stuff! I'm horrible at planning and preparing anything. Let alone a wedding! Gah this is stressful. And of corse stupid me told Tate that he didn't need to do anything but rent a tux and show up! lol HA The joke is on me! Well I have managed to get the location. We are having it at the ETC Pavillion, which I've heard is right on the Cartecay River and is really pretty. Yea needless to say I haven't seen the place yet!

Well that's all from me for now! Anyone have any good money making tips so I can quit my job PLEASE feel free to share! lol

I'm opening up my horizons! Let me elaborate!

I started all my many many many blogs with the sense of making money with Google Adsense. Well I make mere cents a day with that and me working for someone else for the rest of my life is just not cutting it any longer! So I'm opening up into new fields!

Recently I've signed on with the Amazon Affilate program, it's only been two days and I've already had tons of traffic with my promotions on Twitter and Facebook.

I've also started writing articles in Hubpages. I do two articles everyday and they place Google Adsense around the articles you submit and I also get ranked HIGH in all the search engines with-in 48 hours which is also driving a ton of traffic to my blogs and hubs!

And more recently I've also signed on with Kontera. Which in it's own way is like Google Adsense. Just a different version.

And last but not least I've started on with ClickBank. That by far has proven the best. In the first couple of hours, yes I said hours, I made $41.00. It's easy!

Now I know the richness isn't going to happen overnight. But I'm hoping to soon have an amazing online money maker that I'm never going to have to work for anyone but myself again! lol It's a slow process, but I'm plugging away at it! And I dang sure won't give up!

Have a Happy Period?

Whom ever invented the phrase "Have a Happy Period Always" (which I'm asuuming that it is the makers of Always pads and tampons) needs kicked in the shins!

I mean really... who has a happy period? And if you do...what's the freaking secret!

I personally don't have a happy period...when that time of the month rolls around Happy does not describe me in any way!

Let's face it ladies, we are bloated, constipated, tired, cranky, moody, and above all else.....we are not HAPPY!

Hey this may be something you don't want to read...then again you are probably laughing your ass off.

But I'm not happy. This is the woman's curse. And a curse it is. Bleeding for 4-7 days straight, not being able to fit into my clothing, being tired and crank...well that's not my definition of being happy.

So I think Always, Kotex, Tampax and anyother "period product consumer" needs to shove it up their arse! We are not happy when this time comes around and I'm sure NEITHER ARE YOU!

Living my life day to day

Life has been hectic the past few days as I've been working my tail off! Finall get a few days off and hopfully getting things caught up! I.E. Penpal letters, cleaning, writing articles etc.

Tomorrow tho is going to be a fun filled day! I get to go to White Water (a water park) with a few ladies from work. I'm excited about getting a "girls" day out! Should be interesting!

What is everyone doing for their summer?

Missing teen found alive in the Indian Ocean

Abby Sunderland, 16, is alive and well aboard a damaged sail boat in the middle of the Indian Ocean. According to articles the young teen, trying to become the worlds youngest person to sail around the world alone, was approxamitly 2,000 miles from any land. The 40ft. sail boat suffered a lost mast and rigging after it apparently rolled in "heaving" seas. Apparently no rescue as of yet has been made, though, as her position in the middle of the Indian Ocean is 30 hours away from the nearest ship bound for her rescue, and no helicopters can reach her due to storms. Austrlian, French and Americans are all racing to the rescue though.

I have to commend the young lady for keeping it together during this time. And also have to wonder if she will keep on with her quest. Though I have to ask: What are the parents of this young girl thinking!? I mean let's start with the fact that she is ONLY 16 years old! What parent in their right mind lets a 16 year old just journey out into the OCEAN alone! These parents need some serious counseling or something! I mean to let their daughter go out and risk her life like this is insane. Anything could happen to this girl out there. Storms or anything! Hence the rescue! Apparently where she is positioned the waves alone are 40ft!

And I'm not saying that her decision to do it is wrong in any way! But for her parents to LET her do it alone is another story all together! I commend her for following her dreams.

Let me know what you think about this young lady and her accomplishments thus far.

Tired

Well I worked all night Saturday night. And then worked this morning. Needless to say I'm a little poopy tired. But on the up side I got to see the car again! You remember the car?

Yea that car. And yes I walked up to the man with the really nice car and told him that I would love to lick that car! lol He laughed so hard at me! :) Apparently this man lives near Ellijay or in Ellijay Ga. Because the girls said that he comes in like every morning on first shift. I'm sorry but we live in hillybilly podunk Ellijay......... Who lives in Ellijay and drives a car like that?

In other news we had dinner company tonight. It was nice. But she left pretty much as soon as she was done eating. I mean we try to reach out to her and it feels like she was just there out of obligation or something. Kinda rude. I mean I love the girl to death, but goodness!

I've decided to enjoy my 3 days off this week and I'm going to TRY and do NOTHING! Which I'm sure the man has other plans and will be waking me up every hour on the hour to go get something or to go do something. So I'm thinking I'm going to need plenty of rest this evening! :) Or else I might punch him.

Well that is an update. I'm sure I'll have some more for you all later :)

I've said this before...

Yea I'm selfish. What of it? haha and I really got to thinking about this last night when a man rolled up in a Lamborghini!(not sure if I spelled that correctly) I mean you have to think about where I live. I live in the North Georgia mountains! People don't drive Lambo's in Ellijay Ga.

We are a hillbilly, prodominatly white city. And to get to anyone's houses around here you literally have to drive IN THE MOUNTAINS, and just about everyone around here lives in a single wide or double wide trailer.

Now I don't know this man's story, or where he comes from etc. All I know is he is an older gentelman and was dressed VERY nicely and he drove a car that I swear I wanted to just lick and dry hump. (I've always loved Lambo's) And it looked something like this :

Now this is not the car, no I didn't go out to the parking lot and take pics of it. But this is the same color and all!

I just got to thinking to myself. I want the money and the ability to own one of these very nice very lickable cars!

Now does that make me a bad person to want to be filthy rich and do nothing with my time? Nah I don't think so. If anything it makes me want to work harder and smarter. But goodness I loved that car! :)

Why did you start blogging?

It's a really good question. It wasn't asked to me per say. I read this post on someone's blog and thought to myself this is a really good question.

Why did I start blogging?

Hmmmmm I can't even really remember how I came accross blogging. I know at the time I was a "housewife" with no kids and nothing to do with my time. I was home alone all night for 12 hours at a time and needed something other than MySpace and Facebook and housework to keep me occupied. I did the Twitter thing as well and was working with some home based hole in the wall companies that really weren't making me any money. I joined a bunch of Yahoo Groups and was just bored. I had a lot on my mind and a lot to say. And no one to say it to. And one day I just signed up and have been doing it ever since. At the time I had plenty of time on my hands to do it everyday (sometimes more than once a day) and to keep up with it. But then as most of you know things changed and I moved to Georgia. I kept up with it for probably the first month or so I was here. Then I did the whole "going to get a job" thing and just haven't really thought much about it.

Then one day out of the blue my friend Stephanie posted a comment and asked me if I ever "updated" this thing anymore. And actually I quiet miss blogging. I've plenty of funny stories about my job as a good ol Waffle House waitress and plenty of things to blog about. It's just wanting to and getting the effort up in the mornings to sit down and type them out. Cuz frankly I'm worn out when I get home. :)

So I guess the question I pass on to you is : Why did you start blogging?

I know also it has given me a chance to meet some really neat people in the blogging world. And I've also had fun reading about your lives. Makes mine seem like a walk in the sane park at times ;)

Well I worked all night last night and it was slow as heck. But nonetheless I'm worn out and tired. So until next time all.

I've realized I'm selfish

I've come to realize here just in the past hour or two that I'm just plain selfish! As I get ready, in the next couple minutes, to drag my butt into work, that I really just don't want to go to work anymore. I want to be flithy rich and do nothing!

Now I know all of us want this luxury. But really I want it. I'm gettin ready to drag myself into work as a waitress for the next 14 hours and will probably only make a few bucks and that will be gone shortly after bills, groceries, etc....

I want to be able to travel, buy things I want that cost money etc... Does that make me selfish? Probably...but oh well. Here goes another 14 hour day with nothing but sore feet and legs to show for it!

So awesome!

Well everyone, I'm just sitting around tonight with nothing much else to do so I felt like reading some blogs and updating my own! Fun right? Eh yea sort of. Lately I've just been in the mood to do nothing at all. Feeling kinda sluggish and rundown actually.

September 15th is the big day! That's right I'm getting married! WOOT WOOT!!!

Oh today we went to Action Game exchange in Jasper because the man just HAD to have new video games and I didn't really feel like hearing him whine, So I crawled my butt outta the bed and took him. Came back to find my very first Google check in the mailbox! How awesome is that!?

Well I'm enjoying my last night off of work. Going to find something to occupy my time now. Maybe watch some 'Real Housewives of New York.'

Well well well....

Updates all accross the board.... well no not really. All I do anymore is work work work... And for those of you that don't know, all I am is a waitress. LOL Nothing fascinating there. I work for the wonderful old Waffle House and deal with random drunkeness on the weekends. Yes sometimes I feel the need to slap them in the face and remind them how old they really are...but hey... Guess they gotta live it up somehow right?

So how are all of you out there in the blogosphere? Do any of you actually read these? LOL
