Oh my lovelies! (I think I spelled that right!)

Hi everyone!!! Man where to begin?? Well not sure becuz mainly there is nothing new (like yesterday) to report! So I will just babble away for a minute and hope to keep your undivided attention! :)

So we still have our rental car and the wife is still bitching about it! lol She says she feels like she is driving a truck! Its like a KIA something... I think a sportage...but not sure. And of course compared to her Toyota Yaris it is a truck! lol We get so many comments on the 'bubble' (that is what we call her car) Its funny!

It's in abundance!

Oh the snow is never ending here in good 'ol Ohio! Snowing like crazy and no one can keep up with it! Had to dig the wife out of the drive way just so she could go to work tonight!

Her car is being worked on and we still ahve a rental!

House is finally cleaned! The only chore left to do is putting away the clean laundry and seperating the dirty laundry so that we can do the laundry sometime in the next week or so! lol

Not sure really what to write here! Nothing interesting has happened. I know believe it or not the past few days have been drama free!!! Now I must go knock on wood so that nothing does happen!

When it rains it pours... in this case..just life

So everything WAS getting back to normal around here! Then Tuesday night came! Tuesday night Bambi decided that my wifes car was the way that she was going to try and commit suicide! Yes Bambi tried to kill herself with my wifes car! Unfortunatly for Bambi... this didn't happen.

Nope Bambi (as I will call it) ran head first into the SIDE of the car! The drivers side door to be exact! Let me set the scene for you all... (as told to me by the wife)

The wife is driving down this back road that she has to take to get to the highway. When out of the blue a herd of deer start running accross the road.. So she stops and waits, and waits, and waits and then WAHM. Bambi ran right into the drivers side. Gets up and runs away! So the suicide attempt is thwarted and it leaves the car door all jacked up! And riped the mirror right off. Must have been a very big Bambi. So needless to say the car door being all messed up and all left her coming home instead of going to work. And now the car is in the shop and we have a rental that the wife hates! LOL!

Oh yea! And for the past two days we have been without the internet, cable, and our home phone.. Why you may ask??? Becuz the stupid f*cks at the cable company shut it off... Yes we paid our bill! They shut off the wrong apartment! We called them and they fixed the situation... but we didn't get it all turned back on until TODAY! So I have been without internet and going crazy for two days now! FUN FUN! There is only so much you can do with a BlackBerry til you want to throw it out the window becuz it's so friggin slow! lol

But that has been our life in a nutshell... How's yours??

It's been better

Well everyone, I think my schedule is FINALLY back to a bit of normalcy. The wife is back to work as of last Wednesday. And I am caught up on everything EXCEPT my blog reading and commenting. So hopefully after I clean up the house, do the dishes, vaccum, and dust, and take care of the dog, I will be able to sit down and finally get to them! LOL!

Max, our new dog, is working out perfectly. He is such a BIG baby! He loves to be around us at all times and even at times I will wake up and he will be sleeping between the wife and I. It's cute! It's nice to have a dog that I didn't have to train! LOL! I don't think I'd have the patience to have dealt with another training like we had with Clyde! Man I miss that doggy tho! :)

The wife and I kinda got into a little bit of an argument over one of her ex-girlfriends. UH-OH. LOL! She thinks that I was a bit over protective and un-trusting of her becuz I blocked the girl on her MySpace page and told her that she couldn't be 'buddies' with her. Oh well. Personally this girl tried non-stop to get her back when we first met. So am I in the wrong for protecting my family? I didn't think so. But man I got the guilt trip of a life time about how I didn't trust her and all the above. Well... ummmm nope it's not that I don't trust her. But they were together for a long time and my wife is the one who did the dumping. So I don't think it's appropriate for them to be friends. Am I in the wrong? What would you do?

It always happens this way....

So the wife is back to work full swing! But went back to work on a short week so I have her home all weekend. Which isn't to bad. Spent the morning in the vet's office. I swear if it isn't one dog it's another. Duke our mini pinscher was playing with Max our big boxer and Max came down on him with his paw and almost ripped Duke's eyeball out. And no that is not a joke. His eye almost came out of his head. It's all swollen and he is in a lot of pain. We spent almost 3 hours in the vets office just for them to tell us that there is nothing they can do until the swelling in his eye goes down. So he is on antibiotics and pain meds and an eye drop that will help relax his eye so he doesn't have so much pressure. So hopefully it isn't really as bad as it looks. Becuz it looks REALLY bad. If I can get him to sit still long enough I will try to get a picture up here for you all. Well since I have nothing to do tonight I am going to spend the 2 1/2 hours finally getting to be able to comment on your blogs! YAY!!!

Oh thank goodness!

THE WIFE GOES BACK TO WORK TOMORROW NIGHT!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Ok now that it is out of my system! lol Yes the wife goes back to work tomorrow night! We traveled the hour and a half to the Cleveland Clinic today to see her Dr. and he stated that she is free to go back to work with NO RESTRICTIONS! I just knew if she had to be off work for another two weeks that we would have killed eachother! lol Love her to death...but two people who are kinda alike in personalities and are moody should NOT be holed up in a tiny one bedroom apt for more than a few days! I think she probably would have tried to kill me if she had to be here any longer! LOL! But I held out restraint and just grinned and bared it! I love my wife and I think I just can handle things a tad bit better than she can! lol Like I said .... I'm here all the time anyway so it's pretty routine for me to be home for two to three weeks without ever leaving the house! lol

On another happy note, I think I have found a job finally. Outside the house tho. Going in for an interview at East of Chicago Pizza this week. So that is a plus and a minus. I was really looking for something to keep me home, but will make due with whatever I can get! It will be an extra income none the less! So wish me luck that I get it and it will work out. But will stink in some ways since I really don't want to go back to work! lol

The wife has a friend over from work right now and they are playing Halo 3 live with other people from her work so I finally get some 'alone' time to me! So I just wanted to update you all on my status! :) More tomorrow!

Yeah its me again

Well got some free time here in the middle of the night so I thought I would drop a line and tell you all that I am still alive and kicking! It's really different having the wife home all the time let me tell you! lol

So today we went and filled out 'JOB' applications.... wooooooooooohoooooooo I'll tell you what.. I really need to start working from home and soon or I'm going to have to go ruff it again in the real world... Man I hate this economy like something fierce! lol

So things have been a little iffy here and the wife is getting cabin fever really really bad and kinda taking it out on me.. which I know she really doesn't mean to. I've been taking it in stride and trying to just lay off and make her happy... but goodness in a one bedroom apt there isn't really that much to do or say to make her any happier! LOL!!!! I guess since I'm home all the time I'm just use to it... It's really nothing for me to sit in the house for two to three weeks and do nothing besides work and stuff! lol But she is so use to leaving to go to work for 14 hours at a time its hard for her to be indoors... hell we went to walmart Thursday night and she was excited about it... Yeah I definatly need to find something for her to do and quick!

Oh have you missed me?

Oh come on admit it you missed me! LOL! Well can't say that I am back 100% full time just yet... Wife has at least 2 1/2 more weeks of being off work. So that means little to no time online at all. And in the midst of all the taking care of her, the house, the 3 dogs, and sometimes I get around to me I have been looking for a job. FUN FUN! I have been doing sooooo much already but think I may have found something fulll time and FROM HOME! How exciting is that huh??? I know I know... Maybe not to some of you... But I seriously need to do something! I would bitch and moan about things but really there isn't much to bitch and moan about! I miss all of you and reading all of your blogs... just haven't had the time and when I do have the time I just don't have the energy. As I am sure most of you can relate to that! Just realizing something

OMG! There are gaps in my blogging days! Man this whole being off line all the time is kicking my serious ass! lol

The wife is recovering nicely. But we just found out that she is going to be off work for a month. Talk about a kick in the bank account! I don't make enough to support us... Hell I barely make anything! I'm lucky if I average $2 a day! YIKES! And no one has been buying candles from Gold Canyon and no one is "looking thru"all my many blogs... So we are up shit creek with out the paddles if you catch my drift!

So yea lots of stress on my end! Guess I need to get out there and get a REAL JOB! OMG! This is going to suck like seriously....

So I am sooooo friggin excited to be announcing this Guest poster! She is very funny, down to earth and did I mention funny? Her name is Jessica Bern and I have had the pleasure of subscribing to her blog and videos! Let me tell you people that she is freaking FUNNY! WELL, MY FRIEND, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU
I was on the phone last night with a guy friend of mine. He is in the midst of a divorce, FAITHFUL, I might add for a long 12 years, but has now decided it's time for him to date again or as he so touchingly put it, "I gotta get laid or I'm going to snap."
He was calling me from a drugstore. Apparently, he has a very hot date coming up this weekend and was confused about what condoms to buy. Having only been with one woman for so long, this was a purchase he hasn't had to make for quite some time and was very nervous.
FRIEND: So what do you think? Should I buy the large size?
JESSICA: Only you know that.
FRIEND: What if I got my size wrong and it won't stay on? How humiliatin would that be?
JESSICA: Then get the medium.
FRIEND: What if that is too small and it squeeze me and cuts off my circulation?
JESSICA: Don't they have a size chart on the back? Like pantyhose?
FRIEND: Oh my God, they've got ones that glow in the dark. That would be pretty cool don't you think?
JESSICA: Who are you going to tell her you are, Darth Vader?
FRIEND: It comes in pink and yellow. Yellow is cool.
JESSICA: It'll look like a highlighter.
FRIEND: I'll get the pink, only real men aren't afraid to wear pink, isn't that what they say?
JESSICA: Yeah but trust me that doesn't include day-glo. Look, why don't you buy a couple of different sizes, go home, and see which one fits you the best.
FRIEND: What if it's the Small? What do I do with the rest?
JESSICA: Give them to a friend.
FRIEND: Yeah, right. What am I supposed to say? "Oh hey Mike, you want these? Turns out they're to big for me?" Not going to happen. Maybe I could fill them up with water and throw them off my roof.
JESSICA: Good luck this weekend, you are going to need it.

Oh the joys of my life

Some of you commented on the last post that it sounds like I'm living in a nut house (or something to that effect) Well I couldn't agree with you more! Well it feels that way to me at times!

The wife is recovering from surgery by sleeping all the damn time. Which hey I'm not really complaining. But still! She is liking those Tylenol 3's a little to much if you ask me! And I can barley get an ounce of sleep myself! I went to bed at 4am and was rudely awakened by the dogs at 8am. All find and dandy I guess. So I took them out to potty. Fed them and tried to go back to sleep only be woke up AGAIN at 11am by the wife. Granted it was sweet. She came in just to give me kisses... but goodness wait til I am awake.!!!! So needless to say I am running on NO energy and NO sleep! Not to mention I hate taking Max outside to potty! He probably is laughing his ass off at me at how much he has thrown me around, jumped on me and knocked me down... Oh and not to mention the fact that it felt like he tried to detach my elbow by taking off when I wasn't paying that close of attention!

Can you tell I am a little cranky? Lack of sleep and lack of patience can do that to a person! Don't get me wrong I love the big guy and the 2 little guys.. But there is only SOOOOOO much one person can take before they snap! Or is that just me? I finally got the livingroom and kitchen cleaned! Thanks to the overflow of dish water yesterday the floor mopped itself! I finally was able to shower and take some time to go thru the 2 1/2 hours of blogs and commented on pretty much all of them today! So go look and see my comments!!! YAY ME!

There isn't to much else to report really. The MIL calls everyday and the BIL has called at least 3 times already. And this is the only day the MIL hasn't just 'stopped' by! Thank goodness! Love them to death but I need peace and quiet! I'm thinking of crawling in bed next to the wife for the first time in 3 days but knowing my luck the minute I snuggle up to her she will be waking up! So there goes that thought out the door!

Not to mention that I will have to go like a month without getting any at all! Man this is shaping up to be a suckier day all around! Oh well! Guess that is what you have to deal without when taking care of someone you love! lol

Well I am going to make me a big yummy salad and curl up on the couch and do nothing for the rest of the night. Guess you can say Sabrae is getting kinda depressed! I have had no time to promote Gold Canyon. I haven't had any sales and it all just sucks! Short, sweet, and to the point

It's now 2:03am here in grand old Ohio! Whew... Only I will have to be back up soon anyway to deal with the dogs and everything else going on in this house hold! YIKES! Can't say it isn't tuff dealing with greif from the loss of Clyde, brining a new dog home that we knew really nothing about, and the other 2 dogs we already have. Not to mention that the wife is pretty much handicapped and just sleeps from the drugs she is on and dealing with her ear surgery! (and by drugs I mean pain meds!)





So I finally get some me time! Oh you would laugh at the day I've had! Got woke up by the new man of the house Max at 3:40am to go potty! YAY he lets us know! What a relief that I don't have to train him! Right? HA! At least he pee's outside! He likes to POOP indoors! OMG! But hey... just something else for me to do right? LOL! Our other two dogs are taking to him somewhat ok... But I think they are kinda confused on where Clyde went.. Not sure how you explain that to some dogs... But we are working on it! It's kinda funny. All of Clyde's toys are 'protected' from Max by Duke and Daisy. If he starts playing with any of them Duke and Diasy get kinda defensive and take the toy from him and go put it in 'Clyde's toy spot'. And while it is cute and heartfelt, we have to break them from doing that so that Max has something to play with as well. LOL! The wife and I just kinda laugh it off and give the toys back to him. And walking this brute of a dog is a challenge for me! He is HUGE and tugs me around like a play toy! Can't count the number of times I fell on my ass taking him out! (It's freezing rain here, so you can imagine what the cement is outside our front door! PURE ICE) But I just shake it off. Although I need to be more careful! LOL! I already have a busted knee cap that I am supposed to have surgery on (I keep putting it off) So one wrong fall and I am screwed! But the wife can't do anyting! LOL! She is disabled at the moment!





Speaking of the wife! I have some hilarious pre-surgery pictures of her that I sooooo want to post and make you laugh. But I have been threatned with impending death in my sleep if I would actually post them! LOL!

This is Max! How cute! Now tell me you wouldn't have walked out of that hospital with him as well???

He is adjusting quiet nicely! He is a wonderful companion to! Loves to sit in my lap (thinks he's a lap dog and I just let him) He sleeps in bed with me! lol It's to hard to tell him to get down. And he is pretty much house broken. (except for the whole poop issue) So no real training needed. Started teaching him the basic commands such as sit, shake, and high five.. Well he's only kinda go the sit down... so the rest will follow :)

Not much else to report really. I'm exhauseted. I tried flooding the kitchen today! Oh that was funny! I was trying to get the dishes done and had 3 dogs wanting to potty at the same time with only 2 leashes! So after taking Max out and being thrown around like a rag doll I decided to throw the dishes in the sink to soak for a few minutes... YEA... Ended up taking the two little ones outside and TOTALLY FORGOT that I left the water running in the sink! Water EVERYWHERE! I managed to get it cleaned up... But mind you it was after a lot of cussing and near tears! LOL! The wife feels so bad that she can't help me out around here! I just told her to shut up, sit down and be handicapped and that I can take care of it! I think I might have scared her a little!

Well off to grab a Diet Pepsi and off to bed!

Thanks to all of you and some more information

First I want to start by saying THANK YOU to all of you who commented with wonderful sympathy to the recent and sudden passing of our baby puppy Clyde. It has been a heart break for us and we are dealing accordingly. I'm not one to cry and that seems to be all I have been doing lately. Again THANKS to all of you! I appreciate it!

Secondly, we (the wife and I) have learned that the world works in mysterious ways. After the passing of our dog early yesterday morning something strange happened to us. As we were sitting there after they took Clyde away after he passed a vet tech passes me walking a dog. A very cute dog. Looked to be in perfect health. As they were passing the dog stops... Turns around and lays his head in my lap. And just stays there. No amount of pulling on the vet techs part could get this dog to move. So I stroked his head and gave him a kiss. (as I am crying my eyes out) I looked at the wife kinda bewildered. It was like the dog knew my pain. The wife and I just kinda look at the dog then eachother and then the wife turns to the vet tech and the vet dr. and asks what is wrong with him. Apparently nothing is wrong with the dog. He is healthy and up to date on shots. Someone just left him at this place 2 weeks ago. And with no luck on finding him a new home after two weeks he was next in line after our Clyde to be put down. I was shocked! The wife turns to the doctor and asks how much! I was a little shocked, but didn't say anything becuz all the while I hadn't realized I was still petting this amazing beautiful dog! Needless to say and to make an already winded post short... We had to put one dog down but was able to save one as well. His name is Max and he is a pure breed Boxer. While I was unsure after such a tragic event I too couldn't fathom putting him to sleep just becuz they couldn't find him a home. So I have wondered if it wasn't the universe putting us there at the right moment in time to save this prescious bundle of joy.

The wife had her surgery as well today. It went fine. She is passed out right now on pain meds and I hope she stays that way til morning. I am spent! Ready to pass out writing to you all now! lol So for your sake of boredom and my sake of passing out I will sign off now and update you all sometime tomorrow. I know I will not have 2 1/2 hours to go thru blog roll and read all of your wonderful blogs tomorrow but maybe tomorrow night! Fair trade? lol

R.I.P. Clyde Jackson Still 1/4/09

Our baby boy Clyde passed away quitely this morning at the Akron, Ohio animal hospital. We are sad beyond belief.

The descision was NOT made lightly. But what he had was incurable according to the vet and he was suffering very badly. I've been non stop crying since we made the descision at 5:45am!
He passed very peacefully and soundly at 6am. He was not alone at all and we were there to hold him in his passing.

Here are some last pictures of Clyde before they took him from us to be put to sleep.. I am still crying like a baby right now and everyone on Twitter, YahooGroups and you have been very kind with your emails and words

This is going to be a VERY long long night!

Oh you like the title of this post??? Oh I mean it to! This is going to be a long long long long long (well you get the picture) NIGHT! Let me explain!
The wife? AT WORK
3 Dogs
One dog is on his death bed (only like 5 months old) he is vomiting like every 5 to 10 minutes. Won't keep nothing down. Hasn't eaten in like a day. We have NO ANIMAL HOSPITAL around us to take him to! And even if we did.... I couldn't go ... I don't drive and the wife is at work. So I'm cleaning up vomit every time I turn around...trying to get something in his system.. keeping water with him (that he IMMEDIATLY throws back up)
Another dog is craving mommy time (which I don't have it to give right now and I feel bad)
And the other last dog is tearing things up all over the house!
AND I AM ALL ALONE HERE!
Not to mention the fact that I think someone tried to get into the house earlier! Yea talk about kinda freaky! But I'm a big girl that can defend myself! And heck even if they tried to kidnap me or something they would get sick of me and bring me back in like 5 minutes anyway.
So yea that is my night in a nutshell so far and it is only 11:30pm right now! I have til almost 8am when the wife gets home! This is seriously going to wear me out!

Happy New Year from Gold Canyon

I don't have much to blog about today. Slept away most of it :) It's been kinda nice having the wife on the night schedule... Means I sleep more! lol I am such a night owl! You all are just dying to know aren't you?

You are all just dying to know what I did for New Years Eve... I know I know the anticipation is killing you greatly!

So did I get plastered?
Did I go out with my friends?
Did I have a blast?

NOPE, NOPE, AND UMMMM LET ME THINK NOPE!

I know you are all wondering why why why. Well let me explain the events of my New Years Eve and New Years day with you all.

First I blogged about wanting to get plastered and go out and have a grand old time. Didn't I?? I think I did.

This is how it all played out!
New Years Eve :
Blogged
Woke wife up at 10:45pm (yes that is PM!!!)
Tried really hard to convince the wife to go out.. To NO avail
Watched the ball drop at midnight on MTV.
Watched TV for a bit
Went to bed at 4am
Woke up at 8am
Went shopping for the necessities (i.e. grocries, household items, dog food the usual)
Came home and cleaned house like a mad woman (for 4 hours) with the wife so that we could wait another hour to get our new couch (leather) delievered (in laws got it for us for Christmas)
Re-arranged living room
Made a fabulous roast chicken with italian seasoning carrots, potatoes and onions (in the slow cooker with chicken stock) Might I say it was mouth watering.
Watched the Bones marathon (after the house was put back together)
And took a nap at 7:30pm and it is now 10pm
The wife is still sleeping
I am up blogging

The nice 3 bottles of wine that are in the fridge are still sitting there...

Yup that was my night and day in a nutshell! How was yours?
