Well well well....

Updates all accross the board.... well no not really. All I do anymore is work work work... And for those of you that don't know, all I am is a waitress. LOL Nothing fascinating there. I work for the wonderful old Waffle House and deal with random drunkeness on the weekends. Yes sometimes I feel the need to slap them in the face and remind them how old they really are...but hey... Guess they gotta live it up somehow right?

So how are all of you out there in the blogosphere? Do any of you actually read these? LOL

Funerals aren't someting I do

Recently 2 great people that I have had the chance to know very briefly in the year that I've been here in Ellijay GA have passed on. Jason Vick was a good man, tho a many of not so many words. He was a dear friend to those he called a friend and a good man to his fiancee Nicole. Sadly his life was taken from us to soon by a man who was more worried about a cell phone on his floor board. And then there is Billy Martin. Billy was only about the age of 8 or 9 I do believe. He was unfortunate engough to be in the same car that was hit. He died to soon as well. He was a child who always had a smile and a story for you and always a warm hug. He was Nicole's son. So today at 2pm we will go and we will say goodbye one last time to Jason and Billy. It is sad and I can't even imagine what Nicole is going thru right now at the loss of both of her loves. But she is in my heart and in my prayers every minute of everyday.

So take a minute today and kiss your kids, hug your husband or significant other. Because as we are all to often reminded-Tomorrow is not promised to me or to you.

I've learned ................

Recently I've come to terms with my complaining about certain things... i.e. My job and such. And I had to stop and evaluate it... I love my job, really I do. But recently I find myself complaining about it! Then I have to stop and think... hey at least I have a job. I mean there are thousands of people out there everyday searching for a job, losing everything they have because of no employment. What right do I have to complain about my job! So tonight I will suck it up and not complain and get ready for work and do the job I'm paid to do and be greatful that I even have one!

UPDATE

Hello everyone! I was just recently asked if I was ever going to update this thing! lol Truth is I've been working so much and so busy with settling into the new house, the engagement, and everything that I really haven't had much time! GAH I know there is no excuse to leaving you all in the dark! lol But i'm here and everything is going good for me! Getting married in Sept of this year and I'm so excited! How is everything with you all!
